The Residentz would be pleased to a different combination of the above to suit, always dependent of course on the availability of the musicians on the dates you choose.


Guitar-player, singer and Musical Director Stephen Galvin. Running a music studio from central Auckland he has actively taught thousands of Aucklanders to play music on guitar, singing and bass and has taught thousands of songs from contemporary pop, jazz, rock, country genres and classical music. With the Stevie G Band he fronted and presented his showcases at the Russian Club in Newmarket for over six years, featuring local singers and instrumentalists. With The Residentz, Trevor Thwaites, in Crystal Silence, Take Three, Prohibition Big Band, countless gigs and sessions, his musical credentials are impressive, having performed with the best of local jazz and pop musicians, for over two decades.

Commanding attention from the throne of percussion, Neil Stewart is a musical genius and veteran of epic New Zealand bands [Alien Blade, Slam, Take Note, Stevie G Band]. Blessed with an extraordinary sense of rhythm and time, and prodigious memory he combines with skill and technique from the studio to lay down the backbeat of this entertaining and brilliant musical thriller and create an epic experience of sheer awesomeness.

Benedict Hagar ? Bass and heart throb of musical soul, Benedict knows music inside out. From funk-laced jazz-rock grooves like Katherine to four-on-the-floor running jazz, this master of the groove, redefines the bass for a new generation. Imagine Jaco Pastorious on steroids, combined with the logical taste of James James Jamerson, the thundering groove of Max Stowers, and, when needed the background warmth of good, harmonic bass-playing, Ben holds the band together in a laid-back cohesion of style and quiet fire.
