TASMAN AZ is a concept band playing all Kiwi & Aussie music from the last 30-40 years. The band is made up of experienced, professional musicians and have spared no expense and time in putting this show together.
Tasman AZ have played venues ranging from small pub/bars and RSAs/Cossie Clubs to large outdoor festivals like the Caroline Bay Music Festival (7000 People), Orewa Surf Sounds Concert (15000 people), Whakatane Wine and Food Festival (8000 people). We have also played Corporate and sporting events.
That aside here are what I think are some compelling reasons for booking TASMAN AZ.
1/ Kiwi and Aussie music has never been bigger. ?Just in the past few years there have been a number of TV documentaries about iconic kiwi bands and entertainers. ?Our Aussie cousins have also been busy making TV docos about their own music icons so there is a lot of interest in our shared musical heritage.
2/ This is music everyone knows. ?Most of the songs are ingrained in our memorys, we know the words so we sing along, we know the beat so we dance and most importantly the music engages everyone not just those who are dancing.
4/ Everyone loves a live band. ?We are skilled musicians, playing our instruments live. ?We have full PA rig with lights that sound and look great.
