They say "you win some - you lose some" but when it's foot-stomping good times, The Winsome Lost deliver - every time. Based in Palmerston North, They've brought their brand of renegade folk Americana to venues all over the lower North Island for the past 3 years. Stirring a lively concoction of fiddle, banjo, guitar and mandolin; drums, bass, harmonicas and harmonies, The Winsome Lost offer an authentic rootsy experience that gets a party started wherever they go.

Gigging highlights include the legendary Shepherd Shemozzle in Hunterville, the Esplanade Sunday Concert series (3 years running), countless weddings and various other excuses for a general knees-up.

The Winsome Lost play a mix of tunes from Elvis to Avicii with a bluegrass flavour appealing to audiences of any age. They also crank plenty of straight bluegrass and modern folk covers from Mumford and Sons, Old Crow Medicine Show, Of Monsters And Men, and others.

Adventurous; entertaining; out-of-the-ordinary; the show will hold your attention and spark the senses. And if you forget your dancing shoes, barefoot will do - it wouldn't be the first time!
