The Riffs is a high energy, professional & entertaining covers band based in Auckland catering for bars, clubs, private functions and corporate events. We are here to have fun and entertain you, to put on a show and engage with the audience.

Having had the pleasure of being at a number of their events, I would not hesitate to recommend The Riffs. Highly talented musicians who have the ability to tailor the experience to the crowd and create an amazing experience for everyone, and very professional.

Meet the Band:

Gemma is a vocal powerhouse with a soulful side. She has over 18yrs experience honing her talent in various original and covers bands both locally and internationally. A true performer she loves to put on a show and create a truly memorable experience for her audience.

Tim started out as drummer but grew tired of seeing the backs of his bandmates so decided to pick up a guitar instead. If you see him struggling to find his chords, don't panic. It's all part of the show.

Duane has been playing bass for over 20 years and as a result has quite a diverse repertoire. Ranging from Country, through Disco, Funk, and Soul, and all the way to Rock! Hes hardly a wild boy of rock. Youre more likely to find him sitting with his feet up enjoying a cup of tea.

The most experienced member of the band, Jean has been actively playing for over 20 years. That might explain why his drum kit looks like something out of Van Halen - big and loud

"The Riffs were the highlight of our wedding, they have high energy and had all the guest from young kids to older generation up dancing into the early hours. We would recommend them for weddings, birthdays and events as they have such a large list of songs to choose from they would make your event one to remember. Thank you so much for making our day extra special."
