Money For Old Rope

So you are looking for a rocking party band.........well look no further. MFOR offers the very best in live rock entertainment, from classic rock and blues, to something more modern. We can tailor packages to meet your event timings and budget.

Just wanted to express our sincere gratitude for the efforts of both your self and your band at the recent music Festival held at Harcourt Park. As the Head Band on Saturday night, from the first song you had the crowd up and dancing. Who would have thought from a chance meeting, your band would become such an integral part of the event success. The comments after the show were Wow!!, where did you find that band. You completely owned the stage and your strong vocals on many well known classic hits, complimented by a tight backing from the band, made this a unique experience equal to any of the bands that have featured on our stage, which includes such bands as The Warratahs, Hitchcock Railway, The Antony Mad Trio, Itchycoo Park, iO and the list goes on. If anyone wants a band that simply rocks from start to finish, you would be hard pressed to find a better act than Money For Old Rope. Thoroughly recommended for any gig large or small.

MFOR was formed in 2015 but the band members have been around the block......well, OK, more than a few times, but that means we have collectively years of experience providing live rock music in both NZ and the UK.

We all grew up listening to the classic rocks tunes of the 70's and onwards. What we love doing is playing these tunes, and playing them for an audience who appreciate fantastic tunes delivered with energy and passion.

We are based in the Wellington area. If you are interested in booking us, or have a general enquiry about what we do or the packages we can offer, send us an email.
