Hi there My name is Kara Gordon lead singer and guitarist for the K Gordon Experience we are a three piece rock covers/originals (at appropriate venues) with Ross Larson on bass and Dean Blake on drums .
I have played gigs throughout different parts of the world from US, Europe ,Austrailia , Japan, Rarotonga and also toured New Zealand from Kaitai to Stuart island and back over an 18 month tour.
In 2008 I was the winner of the national rock guitar competition held by the rock radio station and the prize was to open for Ozzie Osbourne, Poison, Kiss and Alice Cooper at Westpac stadium in front of 30,000.
In July 2008 I was then hand picked by Garry Sharpe young, promoter for G Tarananki guitar festival ,I had the honour to play lead guitar with Glenn Hughes of Deep Purple opening for Joe Satriani .
The band is also scheduled to play the 2010 event in August.
In December 2008 entered the online worldwide shredder search guitar competition , out of 5000 guitarists world wid I got in the top 15 finalists.
The K Gordon Experience have held down many different regular gigs all over the country with their 4 hour set of well known rock covers from the 60s till now.

The Occidental , Q F tavern , Patriot, Onerahi Tavern, Copper Room, Kentish Hotel Kopu Tavern, Sharing shed (northland), Ballroom (Whangere) the pioneer (Keri Keri) Cornerstone in Tauranga and many other corporate and party functions.
They have also played big event such as opening for the Auckand Warriors and at the 2009 Hamilton 400 in front of thousands.
We will provide lighting pa and backline equipment.
